Yesterday one of my besties Alex visited me in my shed. We spent a very happy couple of hours yakking and drinking a very nice coffee from Uganda. Bargain in Lidl at the moment. She also brought me a wonderful present. In case it gets very cold in the shed. She has hand knitted a fab chunky wool blanket to snuggle down in! And as a bonus I got a hat from the left over wool. This is so fantastic!
Shed+friends+coffee and conversation is very relaxing. The shed has to be just about the best thing I have ever done.
I love relaxing with friends. Currently, this involves discussing guitars, cooking and ... even more guitars. And even more cooking. I'm not the kind of man who can natter about football or cars. Fortunately, I have plenty of fellow 'weirdos' who are just the same. But I don't have a shed. One day!
It is when you are using what you have learned from books that you wish you had read more.
Haha! no I cannot.......I can`t really play any of them as I am learning. But it is huge fun and although progress is slow. Mainly due to not having as much time as I would like. But hopefully the Midwinter festival should give me some time to furtle the frets.
