Fucking hell. I just wrote something, tried to post and lost my internet connection and it disappeared. Grrrr.
I'll try again.
On my way to work I pass a zoo (I know, bit iffy in these modern times but bear with me) and my small joy is when I see the monkeys sitting on the grassy hillside. I'm waiting for the day they scale the perimeter fences and escape - now that would be a massive joy!
Nearly broke my arm in Das Shoppe today, as it got wedged and trapped between two moving rollers (aisle 6: tomatoes in cans, rice & pasta; and 300kg of frozen oven chips).
Unfortunately, I just got a massive bruise and much skin taken off.
(Broken arm might have meant a few weeks off). I am, btw, on day #8 without-a-break, and have reached that point where personal injury might be the only way to avoid the building.
you don't think a mere broken arm will get you out of it do you? they'll just stick you on self-scan duty or something. we have a lad who doesn't even have arms! (sort of stumpy flippers) and he manages! now get back to work you idle wastral. 8 days? pah! the 'golden quarter is coming' mate, brace yerself.
Huge massive long awaited joy. Fibre broadband has at last become available here. After years of paying a kings ransom for "up to 10 meg when in reality between one and maybe two meg on a good day was what we were ripped off for. From next Friday 9 I can't wait) we should get a guaranteed minimum of 26meg.
woohoo, actual interwebs for lazy daisy! and a shiny new laptop. howz you getting on with windows 10? it bugs me that word isn't included you have to friggin pay. however someone, I think young kanuck actually, suggested open office. tis free and basically the same. and all those friggin app tiles. confusing waste of space.
but the most important thing...can you get this lovely new broadband in the babeshed?
if so may I recommend Netflix? you need never leave the shed again!
I will be able to get the t`interweb in my bitch hut. A disappointment is that it is now not arriving on Friday as promised but just over a week later......Noooooooo. I must have patience after waiting nearly three years after the other more populated end of the village got it. We peasants out here in the sticks had to wait. And still do another week. Oh hell the wait is as painful as using my 1-2 meg on a good day. I shall play the ukulele to pass the time.
i am up to level 101 on this crappy game on my phone. I dun even know what its called, my niece put it on, but its basically candy crush. its a little joy cos I was stuck on level 55 for weeks and weeks and since I cracked it I can't stop! lol
Well now then. Today is the day. Instructions that came with router. DO NOT do anything until we give you the word. By email. So far so good. Except that yesterday at 2.oop.m internet dropped out. So still no interweb this a.m . So I phone them to be told it was switched early and i should have in fact had been sent an email at 3.00 p.m yesterday which of course I could not view as it was down..... So new modem installed and I am now getting mega fast for me 10mbs. It may settle and get a little faster in the coming days I am told. Have to wait and see. So for me "superfast" fibre broad band = 10mbs. Not at all fast by most standards but better than 1-2 meg on a good day.
Been out of the bitch hut for a while as had stomachs upset from hell and my wonderful shed is not with ensuite. Then lots of catching up workwise. Hopefully will get back there this week and get learning some more. Playing the ukulele some more and just chillin`
